A Guide to Tulsa with Kids

Our family loves going to Tulsa. It’s got such a different vibe than OKC and it’s an amazing place to visit for a grown-up getaway or with your family! If you’re planning on visiting Tulsa with kids, I wanted to give you a quick rundown of our favorite things to do there. And if you’re looking for some fun in OKC, here are our favorite last-minute adventures around town!

Gathering Place

You can’t plan a visit to Tulsa with kids without spending some time at Gathering Place. This is one of the most epic parks in the entire country and the best part is that it’s completely free! The playground is stunning, the trails are beautiful, and the bathrooms are clean! Need I say more?!

Mother Road Market

No one likes dealing with the dreaded “what do you want to eat?” question. Add kids to the equation and things get infinitely more complicated. Mother Road Market is a place where you really can make everyone happy. The food hall has a wide variety of vendors, plenty of seating, and an adorable mini golf course on the covered patio. Parking can get tough, so try to get there early or go on a weekday!

Get a Stamp or Two in your Route 66 Passport

If you’ll be driving around Tulsa, there are so many cool places on Route 66 to get your Passport stamped. If you don’t have a Route 66 Passport, you can pick one up at many locations around town, or go ahead and order one to be sent directly to you for free from the Travel OK website!
